CHANGE IS NOW

Our plastic consumption has become one of the biggest threats to human civilization and natural ecosystems on our planet. We are the last generation to do something against this problem and we need to act now before it's too late.

As an impact (pre-seed) startup company, OCEANPLASTIK wants to create an ecosystem to give cleaned up plastic waste a real value proposition and engage/reward everyone with a smartphone to help by localizing and cleaning up plastic waste from our natural environment.

By using a combination of mobile and decentralized technologies, OCEANPLASTIK aims to clean up and recycle millions kilos of plastic waste and create global awareness about this problem through an unique ecosystem.

  SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

OCEANPLASTIK adapts all of its activities to the Sustainable Development Goals, blueprinted by the United Nations to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all of us. These SDGs address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice.

OCEANPLASTIK adapts to 15 out of the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

ECO SYSTEM

Modern life would be impossible without plastic but unfortunately over time we completely lost control over this great invention. Plastic is now threatening our lives, health and every creature on our beautiful planet.

OCEANPLASTIK is a new impact startup company, that is focused to clean up and recycle (ocean) plastic waste using decentralized and mobile technologies. By giving cleaned up and recycled plastic a real value proposition, we are now able to engage people to be part of the clean up process by using their smartphone.

Many big companies who are co-responsible for plastic pollution are now trying to adapt to a circular economy, aimed at eliminating waste and the continual use of resources. Looking beyond the current take-make-waste extractive industrial model, a circular economy aims to redefine growth, focusing on positive society-wide benefits.

It entails gradually decoupling economic activity from the consumption of finite resources, and designing waste out of the system. Underpinned by a transition to renewable energy sources, the circular model builds economic, natural, and social capital.

  HOW DOES IT WORK?

The OCEANPLASTIK ecosystem will be based of a serie of activities to tag, localize, collect, drop off and recycle plastic waste using new disruptive technologies to manufacture new durable products made out of recycled (ocean) plastic waste.

The main focus is to clean up and recycle as much plastic waste as possible, create jobs, create awareness and educate people by giving cleaned up and recycled plastic a realistic value proposition.

Non-recycable plastic waste will be processed into fuel and electricity with the WASTX P1000 machinery from our strategic partner BIOFABRIK (sustainable plastic recycling).

Each WASTX P1000 unit can process up to 1,000 kilograms of plastic waste per day which will be converted into 1,000 liters of fuel. One WASTX P1000 PLASTIC unit delivers energy for 150 single-family homes.

The Biofabrik WASTX P1000 units will be used to power our managed recycling/production centers and to sell generated electricity to connected energy providers.

  SMARTPHONE USERS

Everyone with a smartphone should be able to download the PTAGGER, a free mobile app (for iOS and Android smartphones) to localize and clean up plastic waste (mine, collect and loop). We aim to clean up and collect a total of 57K tons of (ocean) plastic waste sourced through our ecosystem and reach 3.4 million active users within a period of 4 years.

Tag, collect and drop off plastic waste
With PTAGGER (mobile app) we want to engage people with smartphones to become real super heroes to tag, collect and drop off plastic waste and reward them with exchangeable crypto tokens.

PTAGGER’s first version is aimed to identify (quantity, quality, plastic types and brand recognition) plastic waste through machine learning and AI (artificial intelligence) algorithms with the help from our users by tagging their plastic waste before entering their bins.

Once our AI engine has been fed with data, we can start to develop and integrate all features to tag, localize, collect and loop plastic waste out of our natural environment.

As a pre-seed impact startup company OCEANPLASTIK we need to get initial funding to start developing PTAGGER version 1.0a.

Therefore we have created an attractive sponsor program for companies who would like to support our journey to mine and collect plastic waste and create loops to give plastic waste a realistic value proposition which contributes to Plastic ZERO. Sponsors contribute by paying an initial fee to help us to develop and launch PTAGGER version 1.0a starting from June 2021 till March 2022.

Sponsor contributions will be used to hire trainees from Universities, a marketing budget to promote PTAGGER in various countries, hosting, SaaS services, create merchandising products to reward our users and involve schools.

We expect PTAGGER to be fully operational and clean up 57,000 tons of plastic waste on a global scale through our ecosystem before 2025.

  MARKETPLACE

The plastics industry manufactures polymer materials commonly called plastics and offers services in plastics important to a range of industries. You can think of packaging, building and construction, electronics, aerospace, and transportation.

The global plastics market is estimated to be worth US$ 654.38 Billion by 2020. The global plastic recycling market was valued at US$ 34.80 Billion in 2017 and is about to reach US$ 56.03 Billion by 2026.

The RPNDEX is a decentralized B2B marketplace (buy and sell) for recycled (ocean) plastic and is an essential part of OCEANPLASTIK's ecosystem to create circular plastic loops.

Connected plastic recycling companies can enlist here their batches of recycled or end-of-life plastic. Manufacturers can purchase their production materials (recycled plastic) directly from recycling centers instead of using virgin plastic resin.

Additional we will try to stimulate manufacturers to stop producing single-use plastic applications and only focus on producing durable products.

Within the RPNDEX marketplace, we aim to keep the pricing from recycled plastic lower than virgin resin to motivate manufacturers to avoid using virgin resin material.

The RPNDEX marketplace is scheduled to be launched in Q1/2023.

  MANUFACTURING

One of OCEANPLASTIK's activities is to setup managed recycling and production centers in areas that are heavily affected by plastic pollution.

In these managed production centers we will manufacture OCEANPLASTIK branded durable products made out of recycled (ocean) plastic which we will sell on our website and other sales channels. Additional OCEANPLASTIK will start to manufacture semi-finished products for its sponsor or equity partners.

The production process will be fully automated and is based on hot plastic injection moulding technology using recycled plastic purchased from the RPNDEX marketplace.

Within the upcoming 4 years OCEANPLASTIK aims to setup in total 9 managed recycling and production centers in the following countries: Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, India and China.

These manufacturing activities will create new job oppportunities and fuel local economies.

  VALUE PLASTIC WASTE

The reason why we are drowning in plastic waste is because plastic waste has almost no value. By using a combination of decentralized and mobile technologies, we are now able to cleaned up and recycled plastic waste a realistic value proposition.

By issuing the OCEANS token, we will give a real life purpose to provide a safe and encrypted payment/payout method for all the OCEANPLASTIK stakeholders.

By raising funds we can start to develop the OCEANPLASTIK ecosystem, motivate and reward all the stakeholders who are active with cleaning up and recycling (ocean) plastic waste on a global scale.

OCEANPLASTIK will allocate 60% from its revenues to buy back OCEANS tokens from the crypto exchange to create a healthy token circulation and to make sure there is always a token supply to reward our stakeholders, who are active with cleaning up and recycling (ocean) plastic waste.

The OCEANS token ICO (initial coin offering) will have a private/crowdsale stage with a timespan of 9 months followed by a crypto exchange listing procedure for public trading.

  CREATE AWARENESS

Unfortunately not everyone is aware about the impact and effects the global plastic pollution problem has on human civilization.

One of OCEANPLASTIK main activities is to change this by creating awareness and provide education about the global plastic pollution by deploying touch screens in public areas.

You can think of schools, airports, hospitals, shopping centers, government institutions and other places where we can reach the public.

Each touchscreen will be equiped with a webcam and will have an Internet connection.

These touch screens will run the OCEANPLASTIK touch screen app that will provide the following features:

  • Free WIFI internet access
  • Real-time KPI data (items in collection queue, cleaned up plastic, recycled plastic, tokens distributed, user base, collection points, connected recycling centers, number of touch screens, countries, cities and sponsors)
  • Check wallet and ranking by scanning the QR code listed on your smartphone
  • Learn more about OCEANPLASTIK
  • How to make money by localizing, collecting and dropping of plastic waste
  • Scan QR code to install the PTAGGER app
  • Overview from the PTAGGER leaderboard
  • Information how to change your plastic footprint
  • Learn everything about plastic waste
  • Listing from all our sponsor partners
  • All content will be published in various languages

The main purposes to deploy these touch screens are to create awareness, provide quality education, to engage and motivate people to clean up plastic waste from our natural environment and automatically earn exchangeable crypto tokens.

It's important to collaborate with (local) governments to deploy the OCEANPLASTIK touch screens in public areas and reach as many people as possible.

All touch screens are maintained and updated remotely by our team members.

GET INVOLVED

Are you sickened and worried about the global plastic pollution problem and want to do something about it? We can always use your help (time, network and/or talents).

Individuals and companies can also contribute with donations or by joining our partner program so we can creating practical solutions to clean up and recycle (ocean) plastic debris on a global scale.

The global plastic pollution problem is completely out of control and requires action.

ABOUT OCEANPLASTIK

OCEANPLASTIK is an impact startup company focused to clean up and recycle (ocean) plastic waste using new decentralized and mobile technologies and create new durable products.

The combination of these technologies enables us to give cleaned up and recycled (ocean) plastic waste a realistic value proposition.

These emerging and disruptive technologies have the ability to engage, reward and motive thousands of people to be part of a clean up movement and creates awareness about the global plastic pollution problem, which destroys our oceans, kills all marine wildlife and puts human health and lives at risk.

We aim to involve people, companies and authorities all over the world, to create the biggest decentralized plastic clean up movement.

  NEW TECHNOLOGY

Through decentralized (blockchain) and mobile technologies, we'll create a practical solution to clean up (ocean) plastic waste.

Users can tag (localize), collect and drop off tagged plastic objects by downloading the PTAGGER app on their smart phone.

Everyone who assists during the clean up process is automatically rewarded with crypto tokens.

We will issue the OCEANS tokens and develop mobile and web applications.

  ENGAGE PEOPLE

The amount of plastic that has entered our oceans is insane and sadly it doesn't stop.

To stop this and start cleaning up, we would need an army of people.

By creating awareness about this problem and by offering financial incentives, we will involve local communities to speed up the cleaning process.

All the app users are automatically rewarded with OCEANS tokens (safe source of income).

  COLLECT & RECYCLE

Users can drop off tagged and collectect objects at OP collection points and recycling centers.

By opening and connecting worldwide recycling centers, we can wash, sort and recycle (ocean) plastic waste.

Recycled plastic (granules) will be used to produce new durable products made of plastic debris instead of using virgin plastic resin.

We aim to collect, sort and recycle as much ocean plastic debris as possible by involving local communities.

  MANUFACTURE

Create new durable products made of recycled ocean (plastic) waste.

This will create new jobs for local communities and fuel their economies with new opportunities.

Sales profits are used to cover monthly costs, create awareness (education) and will be reinvested by opening more recycle and production facilities.

OP products are sold of various B2C - B2B sales channels including our exclusive webshop and associated affiliate program.

  AWARENESS

Action is required now !!! We need to find simple and practical solutions for this global problem before its too late.

We need clean and healthy oceans for our future generations to survive on our beautiful planet. OCEANPLASTIK aims to clean up and recycle as much (ocean) plastic waste as possible, by involving and rewarding people during the clean up process.

Besides cleaning up ocean plastic debris, we want to create awareness about this global pressing problem, educate people, create job opportunities and fuel local economies to recycle plastic waste and manufacture new durable plastic products.

BIG PROBLEMS

Plastic pollution is a worldwide problem because we humans are addicted to (single use) plastic.

We’re slowly killing everything in the name of our comfort, convenience and profits.

We are polluting our planet on a massive scale and this problem demands direct action.

It's unlogical to produce new virgin plastics while oil is a scarce resource.

Everyone should change their plastic footprint and abandon single use plastics. We have to start cleaning up all the plastic floating around our beaches, in our oceans and rivers.

We can only be successful by involving local communities, educate and incentify them.

This is the only way to protect the world’s precious oceans and preserve marine wildlife before it's too late!!!

 HOW MUCH PLASTIC?

The size of plastic produced since the 1950s can be compared with 1 billion elephants.

There are an estimate of 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic debris in the ocean. Of that 269,000 metric tons float on the surface.

Scientists predicted that without any changes all marine wildlife will be extinct within 2-3 generations.

If current plastic production and waste management trends continue, roughly 12 billion tonnes of plastic waste ends up as landfills or in natural environments by 2050.

PET bottle statistics

It's our responsibility to clean up as much plastic debris as possible to preserve our beautiful oceans and marine wildlife to secure a future for our children and all future generations.

Keep in mind that we humans need the oceans healthy and clean to survive.

Digested plastic particles

  FACTS AND FIGURES

Here you will find some shocking facts and figures about our plastic footprint and what it does to our oceans and marine wildlife.

  • About 12,7 million metric tons of plastic are thrown into the ocean annually. Of those, 236,000 tons are microplastic, tiny pieces of broken-down plastic smaller than your little fingernail

  • There are five massive patches of plastic in the oceans around the world

  • These huge concentrations of plastic debris cover large swaths of the ocean; the one between California and Hawaii is the size of the state of Texas

  • Every minute, one garbage truck of plastic is dumped into our oceans

  • The amount of plastic in the ocean is set to increase tenfold by 2020

  • By 2050 there will be more plastic in the oceans than there are fish (by weight)

  • Today, 90 percent of the world's seabirds are estimated to have fragments of plastic in their stomach; in 1960 it was 5 percent

  • Plastic is found in the ocean as far as 11 km deep, meaning synthetic fibers have contaminated even the most remote places on Earth

  • Many marine organisms can’t distinguish common plastic items from food.

Animals who eat plastic often starve because they can’t digest the plastic and it fills their stomachs, preventing them from eating real food

Strangled marine wildlife

  • The likelihood of coral becoming diseased increases from 4% to 89% after coming in contact with marine plastic

  • It also damages the skin of coral, allowing infection. Coral reefs are home to more than 25% of marine life

  • There is more plastic than natural prey at the sea surface of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, which means that organisms feeding at this area are likely to have plastic as a major component of their diets

  • For instance, sea turtles by-caught in fisheries operating within and around the patch can have up to 74% (by dry weight) of their diets composed of ocean plastics

  • Many fish humans consume, including brown trout, cisco, and perch, have at one time or another, ingested plastic microfibers

  • Researchers from the Medical University of Vienna and the Environment Agency Austria have discovered the presence of microplastics in human poop

 HOW MUCH PLASTIC?

In 1950 the world produced only 2 million tonnes per year. By 2015, annual production had increased nearly 200-fold, reaching 381 million tonnes. Over the period from 1950 to 2015, cumulative production reached 7.8 billion tonnes of plastic — more than one tonne of plastic for every person alive today.

 POLLUTING COUNTRIES

Here you will have a TOP 12 overview from countries that pollute the oceans the most (generated in 2010).

According these numbers we can conclude that we have a lot of plastic waste to clean up and need to find ways to prevent plastic to end up in natural environments. Note: data in this overview is generated in 2010!

Infographic: The Countries Polluting The Oceans The Most | Statista

 HOW LONG TO BREAK DOWN?

Many plastics are defined as non-degradable, meaning they fail to decompose and are instead broken down into smaller and smaller particles. Materials can slowly break down through photodegradation (from UV radiation). Estimated decomposition times for plastics and other common marine debris items are shown in the chart below.

 PROTECTING OUR OCEANS

We people need air to breathe, water to drink, food to eat, new medicines and a climate we can live in. We need to know that we belong to something bigger than ourselves. We want a better future for those we care about. To survive and prosper, we need healthy oceans.

The ocean is the largest ecosystem on Earth, it is the planet’s life support system. Oceans generate half of the oxygen we breathe and, at any given moment, they contain more than 97% of the world’s water.

Oceans provide at least a sixth of the animal protein people eat. Living oceans absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and reduce climate change impacts.

The diversity and productivity of the world’s oceans is a vital interest for humankind. Our security, our economy, our very survival all require healthy oceans.

Modern life would be impossible without plastic but unfortunately over time we completely lost control over this great invention. Plastic is now a worldwide problem and endangers our health were our lives and planet are at stake.

We humans are addicted to (single use) plastic. We’re slowly killing everything in the name of our comfort, convenience and profits. We are polluting our planet on a massive scale.

Everyone should minimize their single use plastic footprint and participate into the circular economy.

We have to start cleaning up the plastic floating around our beaches, in our oceans and rivers. This is the only way to protect the world’s precious oceans and preserve marine wildlife for our children and future generations. In fact we are the last generation to do something against this problem before its too late.

OCEANPLASTIK is an impact startup to clean up and recycle (ocean) plastic debris worldwide.

The only way to be effective is to give cleaned up and recycled plastic a realistic value proposition. By using a combination of decentralized and mobile technologies we are able to motivate and incentify everyone with a smartphone to clean up plastic waste.

Everyone with a smartphone can tag, localize, collect and drop off plastic waste and is automatically rewarded with exchangeable crypto tokens (OCEANS). Users can deposit their collected (ocean) plastic waste at one of the connected collection points which eventually ends up at one of the connected recycling centers.

Recycling centers wash, sort and recycle (ocean) plastic into reusable plastic granules and list their batches of recycled plastic on the RPNDEX marketplace where manufacturers can purchase their production material to produce new durable plastic products.

OCEANPLASTIK will open in the upcoming 4 years in total 9 recycling and production centers to manufacture durable products made from recycled (ocean) plastic and supports a circular economy aimed at eliminating waste and the continual use of resources.

Through the usage of decentralized and mobile technologies we are now able to give cleaned up and recycled plastic waste a realistic value proposition.

In other words, we want to reward all active stakeholders (smartphone users, collection points and recycling centers) with exchangeable crypto tokens for their efforts they make during their clean up and collection activities.

OCEANPLASTIK aims to clean up as much plastic waste from our natural environmen as possible.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Give cleaned up and recycled plastic a realistic value proposition (by using decentralized technologies)
  • Incentify and reward people (our users) with exchangeable crypto tokens (money) to clean up plastic from our natural environment
  • Use a combination of decentralized and mobile technologies so everyone with a smartphone can join
  • Give companies who are active with plastic production a platform where they can purchase recycled plastic instead of using virgin resin
  • Participate into a circular economy
  • Create awareness and educate people about plastic pollution to motivate them to change their plastic footprint
  • Motivate and support companies to adapt to a circular economy
  • Establish new job opportunities (safe and secure income)
  • Give companies who are co-responsible for plastic pollution or who are concerned about this problem ways to support our goals
  • Collaborate with local governments
  • Use profits to create a healthy token circulation from our own crypto token (OCEANS)
  • Give investors the opportunity to participate into our startup company and provide them a high ROI (return of investment)
  • Manufacture durable (semi-finished) products (made out of recycled plastic) for consumers and partners

Here you will have a complete overview about OCEANPLASTIK's' approach to clean up and recycle (ocean) plastic waste from our natural environment.

#1 LOCATE

By developing the PTAGGER smartphone app, people can tag, localize, collect and drop off (ocean) plastic debris. Each tagged plastic object will be added in a collection queue, which is visible for all the app users in their region. Other app users are automatically notified when new tagged objects are ready to be collected.

You can compare the PTAGGER app in functionality with Pokemon Go. Instead of searching for Pokemon characters users will search for plastic waste in our natural environment.

#2 COLLECT

PTAGGER smartphone users can assign themselves to collect tagged plastic objects that are listed in the collection queue. Once a tagged objects is picked up, the user will get navigation instructions to deposit collected plastic objects at a nearby collection point.

#3 DROP OFF

PTAGGER smartphone users can drop off the collected plastic object at a collection points or recycling center. Collected plastic objects first needs to be scanned, to display the associated QR code on his/her smartphone before the collection point operator can weight the dropped off plastic objects.

Once the collected plastic object are scanned and validated by the collection point operator a smart contract is executed to reward the app users (tagger and collector) with OCEANS tokens.

Collection point operators can request in the PTAGGER app to deposit collected plastic at a nearby located recycling center. The recycling center operator can scan the deposit with a QR code listed on the collection point operator's smartphone to execute a smartcontract.

The smartcontract rewards both the collection point and recycling center with OCEANS tokens.

#4 RECYCLE

Connected recycling centers first need to wash, sort dropped off plastic waste before it will be recycled into granules.

The recycling centers can enlist recycled plastic (granules) on the RPNDEX marketplace. Companies active with plastic production can purchase here recycled plastic for production purposes.

OCEANPLASTIK's' strategy is to open worldwide collection points, recycling and production centers and connect recycling centers worldwide to expand the clean up and recycling process.

#5 PRODUCE

OCEANPLASTIK will produce a serie of new durable products made from recycled (ocean) plastic. Each OP recycling center will produce (semi-finished) products for its partners or own branded product types.

Products will be manufactured hot plastic injection moulding machinery.

All products are first sent to our main location in Brno (Czech Republic) where all the products are packaged, stored and eventually distributed to our customers.

#6 MARKET

All the products made from recycled (ocean) plastic will be sold over various B2C and B2B channels. OCEANPLASTIK will also run its own affiliate program to reward afiliates and resellers for each sale they will generate.

#7 INVEST

OCEANPLASTIK will reserve a big part from the generated profits to invest in the following areas:

  • Open collection points, recycle and production centers worldwide
  • Create new job opportunities
  • Fuel local economies
  • Create awareness and educate local communities
  • Support other eco startups that are focused on clean up ocean plastic debris or protecting marine wildlife
  • By back OCEANS tokens from the crypto exchanges
  • OCEANPLASTIK starts in Bali (Indonesia) where we will open our first managed collection points, recycling and production center.

Here we will test and improve the OCEANPLASTIK ecosystem before we can expand into other areas and countries that are heavily affected by plastic pollution.

The next step is to expand with collection points, recycling and production centers, connect recycling centers and increase with PTAGGER smartphone users.

    COUNTRIES/CITIES:

In 2020/2021 we will decide in which countries we will expand. For each country where we will expand and activate the PTAGGER smartphone app we would first need to built up an user base, collection points and connect local recycling centers.

Additional the ecosystem first needs to be available in a specific language. In fact we can expand in any country as long we are compliant with the minimum requirements.

OCEANPLASTIK will use its gained expertise and network to create a franchise program to expand its recycling and production activities in even more locations and work with local business owners and investors.

OCEANPLASTIK will produce a range of original durable products made from recycled (ocean) plastic debris.

You can think of colorful B2C - B2B products like: chopsticks, lunch boxes for children, key hangers and other types of durable plastic products.

By selling branded products we want to create awareness about this huge problem and show consumers that we use a part from the profits expand our clean up and recycling activities.

Additional we can produce sem-finished products for sponsor partners.

Products made from recycled (ocean) plastic waste can be classified as durable product types. OCEANPLASTIK will not produce single-use (plastic) product type!

By producing OCEANPLASTIK products we intend to reduce (ocean) plastic waste, stimulate production companies to use plastic virgin resin, create awareness about the global plastic pollution problem and use a big part from our profits to expand the clean up and recycling activities worldwide.

Everyone who purchase OCEANPLASTIK products automatically support our objectives.

OCEANPLASTIK profits will be used as followed:

    • Open more collection points, recycling and production centers to increase the clean up and recycling activities
    • Produce more durable products and semi-finished products for sponsor partners made out of recycled plastic
    • Create new job opportunities and fuel local economies
    • Create awareness about the global plastic pollution problem
    • Educate local communities
    • Cover the operational overhead costs
    • Support other eco startups and projects that are focussed to clean up (ocean) plastic from our natural environment, protect and conserve marine wildlife
    • Buy back OCEANS tokens from the major crypto exchanges

OCEANPLASTIK is founded by a group of passionate and enthusiastic people, who teamed up to use their networks and talents to fight this global problem.

The founders are all active in various roles within the online digital industry (development and marketing)

Most of the our team members are parents. None of them want to give their children and following future generations a legacy, where their children can’t enjoy the beautiful oceans and amazing marine wildlife as how they did.

The plastic pollution problem is totally out of control and is our own fault. We’re killing everything in the name of our comfort, convenience and profits.

We need to take our responsibility and find practical solutions for this pressing problem.

We need to avoid that our oceans transform into a big toxic soup that kills the beautiful marine wildlife and permanent damages its ecosystem.

Yes, OCEANPLASTIK complies to the "Sustainable Development Goals" blueprinted by the United Nations.

We will do this as followed:

    • Provide all our stakeholders within our ecosystem a safe source of income (OCEANS tokens)
    • Create awareness and provide quality education about the global plastic pollution problem
    • Achieve gender equality when hiring employees
    • Create new job opportunities and boost local economies
    • Use clean energy and use electric vehicles for all logistics movements
    • Innovate and create facilities to recycle plastic waste and produce durable plastic products
    • Adapt to a circular economy
    • Clean up plastic waste before/after it has entered our natural environment
    • Collaborate with other companies and (local) governmental organizations to accelerate the clean up process (plastic waste), create awareness about the plastic problem pollution problem, stop using single-use plastic applications and connect the OCEANPLASTIK ecosystem with other available platforms

Yes, we have a sponsor partner program for companies who want to provide support our activities to clean up and recycle (ocean) plastic waste from our natural environment.

We aim to board companies that are responsible for this global problem and are willing to take their responsibility or companies who are concerned about this problem

The sponsor partner program is based on various sponsor partner levels. All sponsor partners receive in-app, on-site, and off-site exposure and are mentioned in our press releases and social media publications.

An Initial Coin Offering is used by startup companies to bypass the rigorous and regulated capital-raising process required by venture capitalists. In an ICO campaign, a percentage of the token/coin supply is sold to early backers of the project in exchange for legal tender or cryptocurrencies.

Through an ICO startup companies can raise funding to finance their ideas into real working products and/or services. Individuals or companies can back these ICO startups by participating and benefit from the token valuation.

Blockchain technology is actually rather easy to understand at its core. Essentially, it's a shared database populated with entries that must be confirmed and encrypted.

Think of it as a kind of highly encrypted and verified shared Google Document, in which each entry in the sheet depends on a logical relationship to all its predecessors.

Blockchain is an incorruptible digital ledger of economic transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions but virtually everything of value.

Blockchain technology offers a way to securely and efficiently create a tamper-proof log of sensitive activity (anything from international money transfers to shareholder records).

Digital coins or tokens are distinct from physical (such as banknotes and coins) fiat currency. Crypto coins or tokens have a stored value.

It exhibits properties similar to physical currencies, but allows for instantaneous transactions, borderless transfer-of-ownership and is currently a hot investment object.

Cleaned up and recycled plastic waste will get a realistic value proposition.

OCEANPLASTIK will use a big part of its profits to buy back OCEANS tokens from crypto exchanges to create a healthy token circulation.

The OCEANS token is a crypto token used within the OCEANPLASTIK ecosystem that’s focussed to clean up and recycle (ocean) plastic waste. Everyone within the ecosystem is rewarded with OCEANS token.

By issuing crypto debit cards, people can cash out their OCEANS token and exchange it into fiat currency by using the crypto debit cards at ATM machines.

The OCEANS tokens ICO details are not yet known.

We do have a detailed plan how to use raised funds and will be specified later on this website.

Yes, we do have a clear roadmap but needed to adjust due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The PTAGGER smartphone app will be a free to download application (for iOS and Android smartphone devices). The app will be used to tag, localize, collect and drop off collected (ocean) plastic waste.

After installing the app users can either register or login. New users are required to activate their account and complete their account by adding or creating their ERC-20 address.

The PTAGGER smartphone uses a decentralized structure to automatically reward app users with OCEANS tokens (crypto token) for their clean up activities.

      TAG PLASTIC

Users can tag (ocean) plastic waste by using their smartphone.

The tagging feature includes a photo, geo coordinates and attributes like plastic type, colors, estimated weight and adding comments.

      COLLECTION QUEUE

Each tagged object will be listed in the PTAGGER collection queue and includes an unique QR code which is required to be scanned.

Users are always notified once a tagged object is available to be picked up in their region.

The app includes a feature to temporarily mute or disable notification services.

Users who reside for example in Bali (Indonesia) will only see tagged objects in the collection queue in their own region (5 kilometers).

      COLLECT PLASTIC WASTE

Users can assign themselves to collect tagged objects.

After assigning themselves to collect a tagged object, the user gets navigational instructions from that specific tagged object.

Once collected, users gets navigational instructions to drop off the tagged plastic object at the nearest collection point or recycling center.

      DROP OFF PLASTIC

Users are navigated to drop off plastic objects.

Once arrived the user is required to have the associated QR code scanned by the collection point or recycling center operator.

The operator needs to check the weight using a digital scale and is able to adjust the weight values.

Once changed and confirmed the users (tagger and collector) are automatically rewarded with OCEANS tokens.

At the same time KPI (key performance indicators) published in-app and on-site will be updated.

      RECYCLE PLASTIC

Through the PTAGGER smartphone app, collection point operators are able to drop off collected plastic waste at a nearby recycling centers. The recycling center operator first need to scan the associated QR code on the collection point operator's smartphone.

Once scanned the the recycling center operator needs validate the drop off transaction which executes a smar tcontract to reward the collection point and recycler with OCEANS tokens.

At the same time KPI (key performance indicators) are updated and published in-app and on-site.

The users are individuals (people) who tag, collect plastic objects, collection point operators and employees working in recycling centers who collect dropped of plastic objects.

PTAGGER will be promoted in countries and regions where collection points and recycling centers are connected.

Yes, all users who are active and participate in the clean up process (tag, collect, drop off and recycling) are automatically rewarded with OCEANS tokens.

The earnings depend on the quantity of collected and dropped of plastic objects measured in kilograms.

Users are later able to exchange their earned OCEANS tokens into fiat, crypto currencies OR request for a OCEANS crypto debit card to exchange/withdraw their money at a ATM machine OR use the crypto debit card for online payments.

Once the PTAGGER smartphone app is operational we will publish here the instructions how to apply for a collection point account.

Once the PTAGGER smartphone app is operational we will publish here the instructions how to apply for a recycling center account.

Oil is a scarce resource. Scientists predict that about 2050 we are running out of oil.

Plastics are derived from natural, organic materials such as cellulose, coal, natural gas, salt and, of course, crude oil. Crude oil is a complex mixture of thousands of compounds and needs to be processed before it can be used. The production of plastics begins with the distillation of crude oil in an oil refinery.

It's unlogical to produce plastic from virgin plastic resin while the world is drowning in plastic waste that can be recycled.

With RPNDEX we want to create a decentralized marketplace for recycled plastic based on supply and demand.

Recycling companies can enlist their recycled plastic while manufacurers can purchase here plastic (granules) materials for their production needs.

By keeping the pricing for recycled plastic (per kilo) the same or lower as virgin plastic resin will makes it interesting for plastic manufacturers to buy their plastic granules at RPNDEX.

Every RPNDEX participant (recycling company or plastic manifacturer) is required to have an activated marketplace account.

Recycling companies can enlist batches of processed and recycled plastic granules (plastic type, color, quantities and geo location) that are automatically published on the marketplace.

It's mandatory for plastic manufacturers to define their preferred geo locations from where they would like to purchase recycled plastic (granules) to get the best notification services provided by the RPNDEX marketplace.

Buy and sell transactions are done with OCEANS tokens where RPNDEX takes a commission fee per transaction.

The OCEANS token ICO will be initiated for the general public to get involved and support OCEANPLASTIK.

During the OCEANS token ICO people can participate during the presale and crowdsale stages and receive bonus OCEANS tokens.

For companies who are interested to be involved, we have created the sponsor partner program which is based on 8 levels. Each partner contributes with an one-time and annual contributions.

Partners can contribute by providing financial support or through products and/or services.

Please use our contact form to get in touch.

People who would like to volunteer and contribute to create a decentralized ecosystem to clean up and recycle ocean plastic debris are always welcome.

Volunteers can contribute in different ways and are always rewarded.
